Itinerary
at 8:00 am Nairobi, Masai mara transfer with a stopover at the view point of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Later descend the escarpment and travel down to the floor of the rift valley, passing through Narok, a small Masai town known for the most beautiful curios ever. Arriving in time for lunch. After lunch go for afternoon game viewing until 6:00 pm. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Breakfast will be served before 0800am then leave the camp for extensive 8 hours’ game viewing. Masai Mara has the highest number of different wild species and you are assured to see hundreds of them. A game drive to Mara River is compulsory, if its migration time you will witness the same as crocodiles hunt wildebeest, hippos playing the river. Picnic lunch inside the park at hippo pool then continues with the game viewing till 6:00 pm. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
After breakfast go for Masai village tour to see the Masai tribe’s men and their way of life. Please Note Masai village tour is an optional activity, its only for those who are interested and the charges aren’t included in our rates. After that leave Masai Mara game reserve region for Lake Nakuru with lunch en-route, a view of Mount Longonot from highway, arriving in Nakuru Town in the evening. Check-in at a budget hotel for Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Lake Nakuru which is famous for the endangered species (Rhinos) and the flamingos. Sometime the flamingos are very few but you are guaranteed of seeing the Rhinos among other Big Five. Lake Nakuru is not a big park and within 4 hours you will have seen enough. Later leave the park with lunch en-route and drive to Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival check in at Naivasha hotel. Evening spend at Leisure either with a visit to Naivasha floral farms. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Hell's gate for game viewing. Here is the only place one can walk freely inside the park as there are no predators. You will decide if to do the game drive with the safari vehicle or hire a bicycle to cycle the 11kms down to the gorge. At the gorge, you will get a guide who will guide you and share information about the rock layers. There are some optional activities like boat ridding or visiting Crescent Island. Late drive/cycle back to the gate, leave Naivasha with lunch en-route and drive to Amboseli National Park, arriving late in the evening. Check in at the Camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast you will go for a full day of game viewing. Crowded by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya’s most popular parks.
The name “Amboseli” comes from a Masai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of Elephants up close.
Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savanna and woodlands.
They can also visit the local Masai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture.
In the afternoon break for picnic lunch then proceed with game viewing till sunset.
Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Early in the morning have a cup of tea/Coffee then proceed for the morning game drive, enjoy the sunrise and take great Pictures. For the 2 nights in Amboseli we are sure you will be able to see Mount Kilimanjaro which has the highest peak in Africa. Later return to the camp for full breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi.
